The insole may sometimes be slightly shorter or longer than the internal space. Since we measure all models ourselves, our measurements may differ from the manufacturer’s information.

Daxi runs true to size and provides a firm grip on the child’s foot. We recommend a growth allowance of approx. 1–1.2 cm for prewalkers.

When choosing a child’s first pair of winter boots, two things are especially important: the boot should not be heavy or bulky, and the sole should be light and flexible. Daxi fully meets both criteria. It is extremely lightweight, has a very flexible sole, and feels anything but clumsy. The short shaft makes it most comparable to a lined prewalker shoe. Personally, I would not hesitate to choose this model for my own child.

Daxi is ideal as a first or second pair of winter boots and works really well for children who already walk steadily. However, it is not a robust boot for nursery or kindergarten use, as the shaft is low and there is a risk of water entering from above. All in all, it is a very good choice of winter boot for the youngest children – perfect for a child’s first or second winter on their feet.
