At MilkyWalk we measure all shoes and models each season with an internal measuring device. Our measurements show the actual inner space of the shoe – not the length of the insole. The insole may be slightly shorter or longer than the inner space. Since we measure all shoes ourselves, our measurements may differ from the manufacturer’s information.

The Fun Warm GTX is a boot that works perfectly for everyday use – whether for daycare, kindergarten or school. It keeps feet warm and dry, while the robust sole provides a good grip on slippery surfaces.

Normally, GORE-TEX makes a boot more expensive, but we find the price of the Fun Warm GTX very reasonable. You truly get a lot of boot for the money.

For children who spend a lot of time outdoors, we also recommend having an extra pair of winter rubber boots or thermo boots on hand, so there is always a dry pair ready after a wet day. Please note that feet may sweat in all types of winter boots, especially when the temperature approaches double digits or if the child is very active. The boots need time to dry completely if they become damp – otherwise an unpleasant environment may develop inside. Even with a GORE-TEX membrane, boots can become wet from sweat, condensation or water entering from above.
