Care and maintenance

Remove dust and dirt daily with a soft brush. Regularly apply neutral or coloured shoe polish to maintain the leather’s flexibility and appearance. Let the boots dry outdoors, away from direct sunlight and heat sources such as radiators or hair dryers, as these can dry out and deform the materials. Avoid machine washing, as water may dissolve the glue and damage the shoe’s structure.

I have worked with children’s shoes for more than 15 years, and Primigi is one of the brands I always return to. Especially for the youngest, lightweight boots are important. When children are already dressed in thick snowsuits, the lighter the winter boots, the better in my opinion. This model has been on the market for several seasons and has become a real favourite. I personally know many families who have used it and been very satisfied. It is the perfect combination of lightness, practicality and a simple sporty design that matches most outerwear. If you are in doubt, don’t hesitate – I highly recommend this boot.

Please note that if the boots are used every day and in milder weather, feet can quickly become warm and condensation may occur. Always have another pair of shoes or boots to switch to. Small children do not always need winter rubber boots in the same way as preschoolers, but it can be useful to have a pair for very wet days. Boots like these need to dry thoroughly between uses – not because they are leaking, but because sweat and condensation naturally occur when children are active.
