The Bisgaard Hale V Lamb first step shoe in dark brown leather is lined with soft lambskin. The flexible barefoot sole without heel drop supports the child’s natural movements, while the protective rubber toe adds extra durability for those first steps.

With two adjustable velcro straps, the shoe is easy to put on and take off, and the firm heel cap provides optimal support for little feet. Hale V Lamb combines classic leather, natural lambskin and a flexible sole, making it an excellent choice as your child’s first winter shoe. It can also be worn comfortably by children who are already walking steadily.

The shoes come without a waterproof membrane, which provides a high level of breathability and comfort. For extra protection, the leather can be treated with leather grease, wax or waterproofing spray to make it more water-resistant.

To me, Bisgaard Hale V Lamb is pure luxury for the little ones. A classic first step shoe in leather with the softest lambskin – a model I would personally choose for my own son. The combination of 100% leather and lambskin makes the shoe breathable and comfortable, perfect for small children who don’t need a heavy winter boot with a membrane. I see this model as a lined prewalker that works really well as a first winter shoe. The fit is medium to wide, making it suitable for many children’s feet. It is one of my personal favorites, and one I can warmly recommend.
