I think this black sneaker from Angulus is a great choice for children who need a more practical everyday shoe. Black goes with everything, yet the model still carries Angulus’ signature quality. The mix of nylon and leather creates a nice balance between sporty and classic. The sole is a bit chunky, but still within a size I would choose for my own child.

If my own child were a little older, I would definitely use this model as a transitional shoe in autumn or spring. In a mild winter, it can also work well, especially with a wool insole or warm socks. The TEX membrane makes the shoe suitable for wet days, though for longer periods in heavy rain I would still recommend rubber boots. For short outings in damp weather, however, this sneaker is very practical.

Normally I am a bit cautious with chunky soles, but here the design works. TIP: the sole looks higher than it actually feels. The foot sits lower inside the shoe, so in practice it doesn’t feel as tall as it appears from the outside.
