I am quite fond of this sneaker from Angulus. The look fits perfectly with today’s sporty trends, yet it still carries the classic Angulus quality. The mix of nylon and leather works really well – the nylon adds a sporty feel, while the leather keeps it timeless. The sole is slightly chunky, but not more than I would personally like to wear myself.

If my own son were a little older, I would definitely choose this model for him in autumn or spring. During a mild winter, it can also be worn most of the season, especially with an extra wool insole or warm socks. The TEX membrane makes it useful for wet days, though for longer periods in heavy rain I would still go for rubber boots. But for sudden showers, this sneaker is just perfect.

Normally, I am a bit conservative with chunky soles, but this model works really well. TIP: the sole actually looks higher than it feels. The foot sits deeper inside the shoe, so in practice it doesn’t feel as high as it appears from the outside.
