Care guide

Use an oil-based waterproofing spray (preferably without PFAS) regularly to keep the boots supple and prevent cracks. Do not spray the outsole, as it may become slippery. Clean with a soft cloth, water, and mild soap. Dry at room temperature – fill with newspaper if water gets inside the boot. Avoid sunlight and extreme temperatures for long periods, and store the boots standing, dry, and cool.

Size guide and inner measurements

At MilkyWalk, we measure all children’s shoes each season with an internal measuring device. Our measurements show the actual space inside the shoe – not the length of the insole. The insole can be slightly shorter or longer than the internal space. Since we measure all shoes ourselves, our measurements may vary from the manufacturer’s information.

Please note that these thermal boots may run small in some sizes, and that the insole length can be longer than the actual inner space. Do not use the insole length alone to check the size fit.

Good to know about Mikk-Line thermal boots

These boots are a practical choice as an extra pair for kindergarten. They are 100% waterproof but have limited breathability and should therefore not be used as primary winter boots. For that purpose, we recommend an adjustable boot with higher breathability.

A boot like this can become damp from condensation or sweat if worn on milder winter days or during high activity. Always ensure the boots dry completely before being used again, and avoid placing them directly on heat sources such as radiators.
