Size guide and measurements

The boots fit true to size. At MilkyWalk, we measure all shoes and models every season using an internal measuring device. Our measurements show the actual inner space of the boot – not the length of the insole. The insole can be slightly shorter or longer than the measured inner length. Since we measure all shoes ourselves, our measurements may differ from the manufacturer’s information.

MilkyWalk’s recommendations regarding winter rubber boots

Bundgaard winter rubber boots – also called thermo rubber boots – are a great addition to the wardrobe, especially for preschool children and almost indispensable in forest kindergartens. However, we do not recommend using rubber boots as the primary winter shoe, since the breathability in rubber is limited. Just as ordinary rubber boots should not be the only footwear in summer, winter rubber boots should not stand alone in winter. Feet become too enclosed if worn for many hours every day.

In winter, it is a good idea to have at least two pairs of shoes to alternate between, so there is always a dry pair available if one gets wet. Winter rubber boots like these work perfectly as one of those pairs. Keep in mind that if they are worn in milder weather, condensation can occur quickly due to the limited breathability of rubber. It is important to let the boots dry completely before using them again.
